Earl's Biography

Earl Gooch
Senior Architectural Designer
Born and raised in Joliet, Illinois in 1971, I am the eldest of five. At a young age, I have always had a passion for both Architecture and Music on multiple levels and started to enjoy pool with in the past two years. I started playing instruments while in grade school. I like to write music occasionally and I like to sing during my free time to unwind. It’s not un-common to find me at various Karaoke spots every so often or playing pool on a league on the weekend. During high school I took my first drafting class which started my love for architecture. After high school, I attended Morrison Institute of Technology in Morrison, IL to learn CAD, receiving an associate degree in building Technology and CAD/Drafting. After Morrison Institute, I attended Iowa State University, where I received a Bachelor’s Degree in the field of Architecture. I moved to Maryland in 2000 for an architectural position in a firm based in Bethesda, MD doing government work. I got married in 2002 and we have two beautiful daughters. My family and I currently live in Frederick, Maryland and I am looking forward to what the future may hold in my new endeavor here at Wade Architecture.
